Books I Love
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon- My favorite book of all time, about two young jewish boys who create a comic book. Touches on a variety of themes such as imagination, being jewish, sexual orientation, americana and the golden age of comics.
Slaughterhouse 5 and Cats' Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut- Kurt Vonnegut is one of my favorite authors and these are two of his best works.
The Book Thief by Marcus Zuzak- In my opinion, one of the best YA books ever written
A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin- An epic dark fantasy series. The books run to about 800-1000 pages but if you get hooked, you will burn through them.
Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett - The funniest book written about the biblical apocalypse.
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore- A gut-busting take on "The Greatest Story Ever Told".
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams- A classic in the genres of both Science Fiction and British Comedy.
